Psychological
Stand Strong Psychological is a mobile mobile therapeutic counselling and practical social work service for Self Managed & Plan Managed NDIS participants. Stand Strong Psychological works with all age groups and specializes in children, youth and families offering individual therapy, family therapy and advocacy. Stand Strong services all of Adelaide and remote and rural areas in South Australia (by appointment)
Stand Strong will come to the participant's home, school or alternate location. Online sessions are also available. Practical social work services offered are varied and include but not limited to Advocacy work, support with agencies sch as housing, Centrelink, medical etc, explaining and assisting with filling in required forms, supporting referral and linking in with mainstream services.

Stand Strong Psychological works from a humanistic and person centered approach, child focused and incorporates several therapeutic techniques to give your child/young person a safe space to express themselves and learn new skills that are in line with their age and abilities. Stand Strong predominantly works with children, youth and families that are neurodiverse and experiencing highly complex dynamics
​
Stand Strong offers a trauma informed, culturally competent, supportive and collaborative approach to assisting children, young people and their families identify, understand and work through issues that are causing distress and concern in the child/young person and family.

Stand Strong Psychological also works with adults on an individual basis. Stand Strong does not currently offer couple counselling.
